This roof was removed down to the wood deck, the deck was repaired and a base sheet was installed. A 3/4 inch insulation was mopped down and then the new Built Up Roof was installed. This job was very messy due to the amount of storm debris on the roof. The existing metal roof had a hidden box gutter leaking down the outside walls of the building and into the offices. The old roof was removed and the rotten wood was removed and repaired. We then installed a new Standing Seam metal roof. The existing built up roof was showing signs of some hail damage.
Do I have to tear off my old roof? Answer: If the original roof is in good shape, then it is likely we can install a new roof over the original. As a rule, we will not roof over more than two layers of roofing. How long will the job take? Answer: Every job is different and it's slope and shape will dictate the amount of time needed. Your estimator will be able to give you an approximate time with your proposal. Quality control is a major part of our roofing process and we will take more time to a job to insure it is installed correct.
