Paul Mair Design

After completing his apprenticeship under a master carpenter in Germany, Paul Mair immigrated to the United States. In 1985 he founded his company Custom Furniture Creations, in Austin, Texas, and incorporated in 1998 to become Paul Mair Design, Inc. Since then the company has grown and expanded in its scope and capabilities. It was one of the first cabinet shops in the Austin area to embrace European cabinetry. A lot has changed in our industry over the years. While craftmanship is always necessary, the CNC revolution and Automation are essential to modern woodworking.
