Cherryworks, Ltd. is a family owned and operated business specializing in quality custom design and fabrication of residential and commercial fixtures and furnishings. The company was started in 1974 in a spare bedroom of the home of John and Patricia Cherry on Seaford Avenue. When the business took-off it was moved to a small garage area built specifically for that purpose. The Cherry family moved to Glen Arm, MD in 1982 where the basement became the new workshop. It didn't take long for the business to outgrow the home so the property at 12609 Harford Rd was purchased.
Our custom shop builds beautiful projects for hospitals, schools, libraries, high end offices, fire halls, storefronts, etc. We work with laminates, woods, veneers, solid surface, metals, acrylics, and melamines. Our projects include but are not limited to: reception desks, conference tables, exam rooms, offices, wall panels, computer desks, bookcases, storage cabinets, benches, and moldings.
