We have been designing and crafting custom cabinetry, fine furniture, and architectural woodwork in our Edison location for over 46 years. We work with companies and home owners directly as well as through the customer's architect or interior designer to develop and complete projects. Our work has varied greatly over the years in both styles and materials used. Styles have been from traditional to contemporary using a variety of materials including various woods and veneers, metals, laminates, and glass.
Bennett Cabinets is a second generation family run business. It was started by my father, Steven Bennett, in 1963 in Highland Park moving to its present location in Edison in 1965. While he is no longer active in the business, his sense of joy and commitment are still present today. We take pride in creating pieces of furniture and cabinetry that are functional as well as ascetically pleasing, always maintaining a high level of quality. Our customers appreciate the thought and care that goes into each piece that we produce and know that the quality that they get will be with them for years to come.

We work with both domestic and exotic woods, metals, glass, solid surfacing, and plastic laminates.
We work directly with home owners, architects, interior designers, or a company's in house staff to develop projects. We field survey every job before beginning any project to insure that the proposed cabinetry will fit the intended space, function as intended, and have a seamless installation. Complete architectural drawings can be produced for any project. We have working relationships with several interior designers and architects should the need arise for assistance in layout, space planning, architectural drawings for submittals, or material selection in the planning of any project.
Working directly with your in house staff, or with your architect or interior designer Bennett Cabinets can help develop and complete your project. We have established many on going relationships with companies through our quality of product, responsiveness to the clients' needs and scheduling, team work, and flexibility that we bring to every project. Projects vary from the alteration of existing facilities to better suit changing needs to entire office interiors.
