At Half Crown Design, we are passionate about design, process, and craftsmanship. We provide our clients the very highest quality made to order furniture and cabinetry for every room in the home, as well as full scope Interior Design services. We have an intense focus on the convergence of design and construction so that each piece that we build, or space that we design, possesses the ideal proportions, timeless elegance, and quality craftsmanship to last and be appreciated for generations. In 1999 Jodi started working as a designer for William Henry Furniture & Design at the same time that she was applying to the North Bennett Street School to further her furniture making skills.

We design and build cabinetry to fit any space: kitchens, baths, built ins, closets, mudrooms etc. You will find our cabinets in some of the most distinctive and historic homes in New England. We use the finest materials carefully selected, with an artists' eye and hand at all stages of design and craftsmanship. We take each project from conceptual sketches to the final installation with patience, expertise, and decades of experience. Individually crafted with your needs in mind, our designs are not limited to a specific period, style or material.

Jodi Robbins has 20 years in high end residential design through custom furniture & cabinetry, you can now utilize her artistic sensibility and expert eye for full interior design projects. I have been helping clients find solutions through furniture & cabinetry for years, and would always have a whole vision for their spaces but not the time to commit to full realization for clients. The change from a brick & mortar space to virtual and in-home consultations over the last year has allowed me that additional time to oversee full interior design projects.

We offer client-specific, made-to-order upholstery built from our line or custom designed. We have a carefully chosen fabric library to inspire you or we can source fabrics specifically for your project. Individually crafted with your needs in mind, our designs are not limited to a specific period, style or material. Like everything we do, our upholstered pieces are the finest available. Our frames will stand the test of time and our superior stitching will satisfy the most discerning eye.
