As a manufacturer of high end architectural millwork our clientele would often ask us to provide and coordinate the custom fire rated doors and frames for their projects. The industry norm was to outsource the fire rated doors to a certified fire door company. What we found was that there were very few companies out there who could build custom fire rated doors to the quality level that our customers had come to expect from South Shore Millwork. We were continually running into problems that we found unacceptable.
