Daniel Gugnoni founded Troy Brook Visions in 1993 on the Shaker philosophy of hard work, honesty, and pride in our craftsmanship. As our Master Furniture Designer and Artisan, Daniel strives each day to maintain these ideals and create fine art furniture. After receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in sculpture, Daniel turned his attention to furniture. His work has been recognized by many of the most prestigious craft and artisan shows including: The American Craft Council Shows; Paradise City Arts Festival; The Philadelphia Invitational Furniture Show; Fine Furnishings Show, and Crafts America.
Dining chairs are furniture making discipline all their own and only a master craftsman can design and create a chair that is beautiful, comfortable, and will withstand years of service. Our original designs - Canterbury, Cosmo, Elo, Anna Regina - fulfill all these standards. Take a look at the different styles and then come to visit them in our gallery. There is nothing that can take the place of sitting in a well designed and crafted chair.
We use only the finest hardwoods in creating our art furniture. Cherry, Walnut, and Tiger Maple are all harvested with ecologically sound methods here in the United States. Our Mahogany comes only from a sustainable forest in Africa. While these four woods are used in most of our pieces, we have also crafted commissioned work from Quartersawn White Oak, Ash, Birdseye Maple, and reclaimed woods. Please feel free to contact us if you have a particular species of wood you would like used for your project.
