In 1984, John Pistilli and his wife Carla purchased Lakewood Masonry Supply where they provided a variety of masonry products in South Pierce County. Learn more about us. In 1984, John Pistilli and his wife Carla purchased Lakewood Masonry Supply where they provided a variety of masonry products in South Pierce County. Over the years, many people would come in requesting marble and granite. While continuing to offer masonry products, John began fabricating stone for various applications including granite countertops, and custom fireplaces. The fabricating business took off and Washington Marble Works was formed making them the first marble and granite fabricator in Pierce County.

Washington Marble Works might be known mostly for our countertops, but that's not all we do. We have a tile showroom, and sales people who spend time learning current trends. Whether it is a subway tile, natural stone, a mosaic, or something in between that you are looking for; we are happy to browse tile with you, and help design a backsplash that will perfectly compliment whatever you choose for your countertops. All of our traditional Stainless Steel Sinks are 16 Gauge nickel-bearing 304 stainless steel that incorporate a Satin Finish. They also include sound dampening pads with a spray undercoating. The drain openings are a standard 3-1/2. The Mercury Apron Front Sink retrofits to standard 36 Sink Base Cabinets without modifications. The bottom grid & strainer must be ordered separately. The inside radius of the sink can be ordered as R0 or R10. Washington Marble Works offers countertops, backsplash and tile.

This rock consists primarily of natural quartz. Once sandstone and quartz are exposed to a high temperature and added pressure, the quartz grains start to fuse together.
