One of our bricklayer members, Irvin Wheeler, and his family really need our help. The apartment he and his family were living in was completely destroyed in a fire on December 4th. Luckily, he, his wife Demetria and two daughters (Arianna, 6 years old and Rachel, 1 year old) escaped with their lives buteverythingelse was lost. The IUBAC District Council Training Center's mission is to supply our Signatory Contractors with the finest trained craftworkers in the Brick, Marble, Plaster, Pointing Cleaning and Caulking, Tile, and Terrazzo trades. Through our affiliation with the Bricklayers International Union (Founded 1865) and the International Masonry institute (Founded 1971), our goal is to improve our members' quality of life, on and off the job, through access to quality training that results in safe working conditions and solidarity among members.
