The business and the building were created by Irv Berns, who is an architect and was influenced by the legendary Frank Lloyd Wright. You will see the influence captured in Town and Country's showroom with floor to ceiling windows and the multi-level cantilevered space. This enables you to see the warehouse from the showroom. Town & Country's focus is with residential customers, contractors and high-end decorators. The employees have over a hundred and twenty-five years of staff experience along with two in house decorators to fulfill all your design needs.
Founded in 1968, Town & Country Ceramic Tile, Inc. is the largest tile distributor in Rockland County. We have a 18,000 sq ft facility. Unlike the big box stores who carry mostly mill ends, irregulars or discontinued items, the variations we display will be around and will continue to be around for some time.

I typically don't write reviews unless I've received exceptional service, and this is one of those moments. I needed replacement tiles only to find out that they were discontinued. The staff rallied around me to develop a solution, and within a short time, a resolution was created. I am very thankful for their professionalism and commitment to satisfying their customers. I love this place! The selection of tiles is amazing and second only to the people who work here. They are so helpful, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They have a gorgeous new showroom that takes the guesswork out of picking tile. You can SEE how your tile choice will look on a large space. This is our third renovation project working with Tile and Country...absolutely no complaints. Highly recommend.

Today was my first time at Town & Country Ceramic Tile. I walked into the warehouse instead of the main entrance on accident, but John kindly greeted me anyway. I had a small project; cutting a few tiles to replace some old broken pieces from my gas fire-pit. The tiles weren't standard cuts so I couldn't just buy them. And no other businesses would cut tiles for me so I was having a bit of trouble. John to the rescue. I could tell he was busy working on much larger jobs, but he helped me out anyway. It tells a lot about a business and a person who goes out of their way to help someone in need even when it's inconvenient. Thanks John, it was nice meeting you and I appreciate the work you did for me.
