A San Francisco loft remodel in the Mission district, completed in 2019. Thank you to our wonderful clients Mike and Annette, Interior Designer Jennifer Downing (Mokume Design) and to Christopher Stark for the photography. Built in 1907 as a timber factory, the iconic Allied Box Factory eventually evolved into creative live work lofts. This 2 bedroom, 3 bath loft was completely renovated, staying true to the origins of the building while creating a modern living space. Kitchen and living spaces were flipped from the original design moving bedrooms and bathrooms to the first floor and entertaining spaces upstairs.
Making a difference on a local level is what guides our mission at PHASE2 BUILDERS. Since 2004 we have been building energy-efficient homes using renewable and non-toxic materials. When combined with superior craftsmanship this ecological consciousness results in beautiful buildings that promote healthier living and a sustainable future for us all. My passion for a green planet and fearless design inspired me to start PHASE2 BUILDERS. I help clients build the home of their dreams by thinking economically and ecologically so that projects come in under budget and support the health of their families.

Building this 3-sided fireplace wasn’t easy for my team, but the final view totally made it worth the effort.
