President Larry Steffen started his first construction company in 1980 in Elgin, IL. In 1997 he moved his family to Winter Park, Colorado. He has since been actively involved in building more than 150 custom homes in Grand County, many of which have appeared in national publications. In 2012, Tyler Huber was brought on as Vice President and part owner. Steffen Builders West has been family owned and operated since 2010. The team has also built five custom homes of their own and understand the process from both the personal and professional end of the spectrum.
