Welcome to the Home Builders Association of the Greater Rockford Area. Our association has been dedicated to promoting new home building and home ownership since 1953, making it one of the oldest home builders associations in the United States. We are affiliated with the Home Builders Association of Illinois www. HBAI.org., and the National Association of Home Builders www. NAHB.com. We are working together to preserve the American dream of home ownership. This website is designed to provide the association members and the public with information about home building all can use to be better informed about building and buying a new home.

The Home Builders Association of the Greater Rockford Area, Inc., chartered in 1953, is a trade association affiliated with the Home Builders Association of Illinois and the National Association of Home Builders. The association is dedicated to the promotion of new construction and remodeling in Winnebago, Boone, Ogle, Lee, Stephenson, Carroll, and Jo Daviess Counties. The association provides building industry knowledge and information to members and the community. The Home Builders Association of the Greater Rockford Area is actively involved in legislative issues affecting the building industry.
