Ted Grace began building custom homes in the Omaha metro over 40 years ago as Ted Grace Homes. His dedication to quality, specific attention to detail, and a trusting professional staff contribute to our ongoing commitment to service long after you've moved into your custom-built home. Over the decades, the products and materials incorporated into new homes have drastically changed. Ted Grace believes it's for the better, making Grace Homes' job both easier and challenging at the same time. Not only did Ted see changes in the marketplace over time, the sophistication of the customer has transitioned from then to now as well.
In the early 1990s, Ted Grace began the Builders of the Future program (part of the Builder Foundation) to "locate, encourage, and educate the next generation of construction trade specialists". Its sole purpose is to network and educate high school students to become future builders. The Builder Foundation works with Omaha area high schools and organizations in order to teach construction skills to build tangible projects, providing an authentic "hands-on" building experience for those students serious about a career in the construction trade.
