We had an amazing experience with Krickovic & Ziegler building our dream home! We are just approaching our fifth year in the house and love it! They really listened to what we needed and worked to maximize the space that was best for our family. The places they found to use is storage is amazing! I get to witness their attention to detail on a weekly basis. They build some of the most beautiful homes in the Richmond area and I am fortunate enough to help with the landscaping, hardscaping, and grading. I have worked for several builders over the years and Rusty and Mike are the only ones I work for today by choice. Mainly because they don't cut corners, they do what they say they are going to do and most importantly the deliver a class a product. Alot of builders today will tell you want you want to hear until you sign the contract then it's another story. Not the case with these guys and please don't think I'm writing this because I do business with them. I am writing this because if there is anyone qualified to write a review about them it's me. I get to deal with the customer at the end of the build and the feedback I get is incredible. It is so hard to find anyone to trust these days and that delivers a top notch product that when when I run across one I feel it's my duty as a home owner to share with others in hopes of them avoiding one of the many shady contractors out there these days. I have heard my fair share of those stories as well, however, never from from one of K & Z's clients so do yourself a favor and save some time shopping, this is the company you want building your house or adding your addition. I know if I am ever crazy enough to build a new home again they will certainly be the ones building it.

When we spoke to several builders about placing a second story addition on our small ranch house, everyone cringed except K&Z. Mike immediately understood our vision and gave us excellent advice. From there the game was on and they played it like “all stars”. The highest quality and most responsive builder we have ever worked with on any project. The K&Z crews were respectful, diligent and maintained a clean and safe work site. Mike took the effort to explain everything and offer solutions before the issues arose. They delivered on time, even made up several weeks caused by weather and permitting issues. The finished product is beautiful and no one can tell where the old ends and the new begins! Great experience!
