Great to work with until something goes wrong. Used Perma Dry in Feb. to remove water from crawl space & add perimeter drains & gravity flow system trenched to road. At the time the drain to road was put in I voiced my concern that since it came out on a slope it was going to fill quickly with sediment & shouldn't it be in a different spot. I was assured it would be fine. Then workers did not connect ducts correctly & heat did not work. That was fixed & then another part of duct system required extensive time to fix. I received a call after job was done from owner who said he had been on vacation & was sorry for problems & to call him any time I had questions. Fast forward to August. First rains started and sediment, rocks, etc. began filling up the grating (as I thought they would). I called to have someone come take a look and was told I would be charged for the visit. I pushed back & was transferred to Jack. In a condescending voice he told me I was responsible for cleaning out the basin. Okay, but what about the fact it might be in the wrong place? Was told he would have someone stop by when they were in the area but it might be awhile. Fine. Yesterday received a call from the office saying Joe would stop by between 8 & 12. He would call before he came. I changed my schedule to be sure I was home. No call. No knock on the door. Called the office. Was transferred to Jack. Told him no call, no show. He responded that he had spoken to Joe and Joe had taken pictures. That is when I got angry. "I didn't talk to Joe. I was told he was going to call. I changed my schedule to be here." Jack interrupted me and told me to calm down. No apology. No customer care. All he would have had to say is he was sorry there was a breakdown in communication. He did not. I DO NOT recommend Perma Dry. I will actively turn people away from Perma Dry based upon their poor customer care.
Just had them out to my home to redo the crawl space, they took excellent care of my home and the price was fair. I would recommend them to any of my friends. New sump pumps, perimeter drains, dry well, new insulation and alarm.
