The problem with existing curb machines was that they had a ram that delivered mortar from the hopper to the mold losing 50% of the positive energy as the ram returned to pick-up the material. Material had to be mixed very dry making installation and finishing more difficult as well as causing extruded material to break and weather poorly from lack of good compaction.
