The most important step to creating a durable, long-lasting concrete overlay is the concrete preparation. Need old Epoxy Stone or failing Kool Deck removed? Let us remove that and get your concrete slab ready for a beautiful new overlay. We address cracks, spalling, shaling, settling, puddling and sealer removal during the concrete preparation process. Developed over 40 years ago, the Sundek Classic Texture (knockdown) Overlay System revolutionized the concrete repair industry. Sundek Classic Texture offers a broad range of repair abilities as well as design options.
The SunEpoxy Coating System offers options for low and high traffic areas as well as areas that may have higher levels of moisture transmission. The SunEpoxy system comes in a variety of colors and can be used with either colored quartz or vinyl chips. Custom logos and stencils can be added during the installation process. In our area of the country, moisture transmission rates through concrete vary widely throughout the year. A heavily saturated slab this year may be a very dry and cracking slab next year.
Acid stain is a chemical reaction with your existing concrete. The chemical reaction with the salts in your concrete create a one-of-a-kind look that adds warmth, depth, and richness to any concrete floor. Acid stain colors are usually warm in tone and have a range of hues from one color application. The color can be hard to determine and your color is unique to your piece of concrete. There must not be any topical barriers (sealer, paint, epoxy, glue, or mastic) that the stain cannot penetrate.
