Employee safety is our first priority because our employees are our most valuable asset. Safety is essential to all business functions and is never compromised under any circumstance. Every employee has a responsibility to maintain a safe and healthy work environment which includes reporting all work-related accidents and creating a positive, long-term commitment to preventing accidents or injuries.
In 1946, Garth Webb formed Farmers Supply Company in Heflin, Alabama. The company started with seed, fertilizer, and hardware as the prime business, then ventured into ready mix concrete, building materials, sand, and gravel. Dedication to the customer's needs has been our guiding principle from the start. Current owner, Phil Webb, bought the company from his father, Bobby, in 1980. Since then, Webb has grown to offer more than just concrete and building materials adding the flooring division in 2006.
We are your source for all decorative products to transform and enhance any interior or exterior concrete space. With many colors to choose from, we can help you turn original gray concrete in to your own tranquil space. This is a powder that is hand-broadcast onto freshly poured concrete and then worked into the surface. This is essential for protecting surfaces from water damage caused by freeze/thaw cycles, stains from dirt, oil, and much more. We have a variety of tools for imprinting texture and pattern into freshly poured concrete to make it look like stone, brick, wood and other materials.

We carry a variety of engineered wood to assist in even the most challenged framework designs. Engineered wood is also called mass timber, composite wood, man-made wood or manufactured board and is very durable with multi-layers of wood positioned in different directions. These wood products vary in size and are used in a variety of applications, from home construction to commercial buildings. This wood can also be used for joists and beams replacing steel in many types of building projects.
Aggregates are any collection of rocks and are classified as crushed stone, sand, gravel and slag. They are used in roads, bridges and sidewalks, which are made of concrete, which is mostly made up of aggregates combined with a binder that acts like a glue. We carry a variety of these materials which are used to refill an excavated hole, and are typically used to strengthen and support a structure's foundation while also assisting in better water drainage. Some common backfill materials are round stones like pea gravel and coarse-grained soil, which are mixed with both gravel and sand.
Once the frame is in place and the walls are up, it's time to enclose the openings left for the windows and doors. Windows allow the passage of light, sound and sometimes air, to enter without exposing the interior to the elements outside. Doors are hinged or otherwise movable barriers that allow entrance or exit from the building, also providing security by controlling the access into the building. There is a wide selection of styles, colors and materials in both windows and doors. We carry anything from standard models, to providing the option of customizing the perfect look for windows and doors to fit any project.
We offer a mass selection of millwork products, which are any type of woodwork that is produced in a mill. This includes columns, moulding, stair parts, doors and windows. These products are usually custom or made to specification, which can be installed with minimal alteration. The main materials used in millwork are produced from softwood or hardwood lumber, and some products like doors, windows and stair parts incorporate the use of steel, aluminum and glass options. Millwork materials are used for both decoration and function in structures and buildings.
We have four ready mix locations to serve our market areas. Ready mix concrete is manufactured in batch and with a set engineered mix design combining a precise amount of gravel, sand, water and cement by weight. Ready mix concrete is typically used for larger projects on residential and commercial job sites. This is a decorative concrete that has natural stones from river beds and quarries hand seeded into a concrete base. It's ideal for pool decks, patios, driveways, walkways and much more. This is a type of high performance concrete and is used in components such as bridge applications, columns, high-rise structures, shear walls and foundations.
