In 2009 history repeated itself. Inspired by the late Ernest Maier who founded Ernest Maier Block during "The Great Depression", Brendan Quinn and Kevin Brill decided to imitate Mr. Maier's bold move by opening Skyline Brick during "The Great Recession". Although we're a new business in the Charlottesville and Shenandoah Valley areas our professional staff has over 115 years of combined experience in the masonry and construction fields. We look forward to meeting our customers' needs regardless of the size of their project.

SEPTEMBER 1, 2013 - We are pleased to announce that Skyline Brick has acquired the operations of Standard Supplies of Gaithersburg, Maryland. It is a marriage of companies with a shared philosophy - invest in people that are passionate about products; have the infrastructure to offer the best quality service; and, deliver it all with a smile. Since 1926 and 1947 respectively, these family businesses have executed on that very simple philosophy through good times and in bad. Standard Supplies brings to the Skyline Brick family the Bosch tool line, a complete line of NDS drainage and erosion control products, multiple hardscape lines, building materials, and a steel division that offers a complete line of fabricated steel products from I beams to angle irons to adjustable lolly columns and much more.

We are a full service masonry supply house that caters to professional masonry contractors of commercial, industrial, or residential construction. Our mission is to develop lasting relationships with area contractors as to better be able to anticipate their needs. We ensure an extensive product inventory, while we deliver products to job sites on time and at reasonable rates. Our sales team will work with contractors to choose the right product for the job based on their plans and budget. Whether installed by contractors or DIY's, we carry a variety of materials to enhance the appearance and value of your property.

Having said that, how do we supply energy to a global population of 7 billion people and growing, while simultaneously preserving the environment?
