United Forming Inc is a concrete construction company specialized in formwork systems solutions. We provide pre-construction, construction, formwork system design and project management services to leading general contractors and developers in the private and public sectors. With almost 35 years of operations in the construction industry, United Forming is in a position of sustainable growth. Since our establishment in 1985, we have completed two and a half billion dollars' worth of work and more than 1000 projects across the Mid-Atlantic and South Region.

The need for professionally prepared construction budgets manifest throughout the project development process. Many times a project is well along in its design before real cost data is required. Similarly, a project may have been postponed for improved market acceptance and in need of an update, or the advent of a new and exciting concept. United Forming's professional staff includes skilled Cost Engineers, Estimators and Schedulers. We work with Architects, Engineers, Developers and Construction Management firms through every phase of development, from conceptual estimating to new for-construction projects.

As a self-performing concrete structure builder, one of United Forming's most celebrated core competencies is our professional engineering capabilities. Registered engineers supervise and prepare all formwork, shoring and reshoring designs. Formwork and shoring shop drawings are produced in-house using state of the art computer aided design (CAD) systems. Although we do not provide engineering services to the public for hire, our engineering capabilities extend well beyond formwork and shoring design.

Construction planning is the core activity in the management and execution of construction projects. One of the challenges faced by construction planners actually begins with the final result i.e. United Forming has long recognized the principal correlation between well thought-out, highly detailed project schedules and well managed fiscally successful projects. Site logistics integrates every aspect of the construction process into an orchestrated plan for temporary structures, temporary services, storage, staging, controlled ingress, egress and the offloading, loading, horizontal and vertical movement of the numerous plan components. With over 25 years experience as a concrete structure builder, we share the value of planning, organizing, directing, and controlling on-site processes; and, the co-beneficial management of proactive safety planning, material handling systems, site layout, multi-disciplinary sequencing, and occasionally, conflict resolution.

United Forming's experience building commercial structures is extensive. We have planned, designed, managed and built hundreds of commercial projects for a large number of most prestigious general contractors and developers in the construction industry. From government buildings, office retail space, mixed-use, parking structures, institutions of education, restaurants, government municipalities, apartment complexes, and healthcare facilities, we deliver safe and solid concrete structures while adhering to the project schedule and cost.

Design Assist is a relatively new form of construction procurement and management being utilized more and more in the industry today. This format offers many of the same benefits to the Owner as Design /Build procurement, but with a more specialized focus. The general contractor or construction manager selects United Forming early in the design development phase to provide cost estimating, budgeting, value engineering, constructability reviews, Building Information Modeling (BIM), detailed scheduling and pre-construction planning.
