We are truly a family business that started in 1988, when company founder Charles Herr began manufacturing and distribution of the "1 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ (actual size) aluminum straightedge with welded ends and kerfed edges", masonry wallscraper, and the asphalt t-lute. His daughter came with him in 1996. The company grew and finally incorporated in 1999. On January 1, 2004, Charyl became full owner so Charlie could retire. The business is in the process of being listed as a women owned business.
