In the ever-changing world of construction, Hartman Concrete believes that continuing education is an invaluable tool for all employees. Safety is an important part of construction, of course, and as such all field employees are required to maintain a current certification in basic first aid and CPR, and must attend a 10 hour OSHA course. In addition, training on topics related to construction is offered on a regular basis to our employees. These courses include legal issues, how to balance work and family, causes and corrections of concrete problems, numerous courses dealing with decorative concrete and of course dealing with that occasional difficult owner or supplier.

Hartman Concrete Construction was originally formed in 1986 with two employees and a strong desire to create a quality project. In 1996, the original members of Hartman Concrete Construction incorporated and become Hartman Concrete, Inc. but the desire for quality construction remained the same. After struggling for years with a separate office and warehouse, in 2006 we moved into our own 1,500 square foot office and 5,000 square foot warehouse on almost 2 acres in Manchester Township, York County.
Decorative and specialty concrete is a Hartman Concrete specialty. As one of the few construction companies in the state that is versed in stained and stamped concrete, we're pleased to craft interior countertops, window sills and other decorative features. Hartman is on the cutting edge of specialty concrete design!
