Frank Howard, Jr. began Howard Concrete Pumping in the early 1970s, after graduating with an economics degree from Slippery Rock University, by purchasing a used concrete pump with his business partner, Geoff Milspaw. The two men operated a successful business before amicably heading in different directions. The company has grown from its early days of the one-pump operation to what is today a successful multi-state concrete pumping and geotechnical construction firm. Our sister company, J.C. Howard Concrete Company provides ready-mixed concrete to the Pittsburgh and surrounding areas.
