Stark Corporation provides asphalt and concrete paving services for both public and private sector markets in Wisconsin. Stark operates a number of asphalt plants and crushing operations to supply their paving operations, but also to support a number of FOB clients. Headquartered in the Greater Milwaukee area since 1965, Stark has the experience and expertise to meet any paving need. Incorporated in 1965, Stark began with one asphalt plant and has steadily grown to include four asphalt plant locations, bulk asphalt binder terminal, polymer-modified blending facility, stationary and mobile aggregate recycling operations, numerous construction crews, and an in-house technical services division.
Stark Pavement Corp. has been doing business in the Milwaukee area since 1965, when it incorporated as Stark Asphalt Services and began operations of its first asphalt plant. While the business initially focused on the residential driveway market, Stark has steadily grown over the past five decades to where it is capable of performing some of the largest asphalt paving jobs in the history of Wisconsin. State highways and interstates comprise part of Stark's workload, but we are also very active in paving for commercial applications.
Stark Pavement Corp. operates four asphalt drum mix facilities, where crushed, natural, and recycled aggregates are mixed with asphalt cement to produce the familiar "blacktop" most of us drive over every day. The proportions of these components are largely what determine whether the material is suited for a commercial parking lot or a major interstate highway. These types of mixes are designed in-house by our expert technical staff for their specific application in our state-qualified design laboratory.
