For the next 6 - 12 months, your pavement will remain soft and pliable. This means your asphalt pavement will adapt its shape to the surface beneath it and to objects placed on the surface. We recommend waiting 60 days after paving to allow for the natural curing of the blacktop before seal coating, then every two years to help extend the life of your new driveway. For best results, seal coating should be applied before the temperature begins to drop below 40 degrees at night. Seal coating helps improve to improve the look and preserves your driveway.
