One of the most important aspects of maintaining a healthy water supply in your home involves backflow prevention. Backflow occurs when water pressure in your plumbing system drops due to frozen pipes, a burst pipe or an unusually high demand on your water supply. When the water pressure drops, the flow of water reverses and wastewater from the municipal main can enter the clean water supply in your plumbing system. Obviously, this results in an unpleasant, unhygienic and possibly dangerous situation, because wastewater contains organic waste and contaminants that can be detrimental to human health.
As a responsible homeowner looking to properly maintain all parts of your property, it's crucial to schedule sewer main line cleaning once a year. Let's face it: sewer cleaning isn't a fun task for anybody, but it's vitally important in order to maintain a hygienic, functioning plumbing system. Over time, sludge and sediment buildup in sewer lines. However, the longer this goes on without the drain being cleaned, the smaller the actual diameter of the drain becomes-and the more you risk getting a clogged drain.
Sensible homeowners agree that you need a top-rated plumbing company for tankless hot water heater installation and repair. Tankless water heaters are becoming increasingly popular; however, if you don't install and maintain it properly, you could wind up with cold water, as well as other problems that can be caused by a malfunctioning water heater. It should be clear that by choosing to have a professional install, maintain and repair your tankless water heater, you're not only benefiting from a Master Plumber's knowledge and experience; you're also getting warrantees on labor and parts.
A leaking drain is one of the most unpleasant problems you might have to deal with as a homeowner, which is why it's so important to select a reputable plumber for leak detection. Unlike a leaking pipe, which leaks clean water, a leaking drain leaks water that contains organic waste and other contaminants. This leak can occur at any point in your home's drainage system; from behind a wall to below the floors. And when it happens, it can cause water damage, plus, it can compromise the hygiene of your home.
When it comes to cooling and heating your home efficiently, it's a great idea to look into ductless mini-split installation and repair. Ductless systems are growing in popularity for a number of reasons: they can be used for both heating and cooling, they don't require the installation of a duct system, they allow for zone-based heating and cooling and they're more energy-efficient than whole-home systems. Despite all of the advantages of a ductless mini-split system, it's not advisable to install one yourself.

A water heater is a big investment, so it's only logical that you choose a trustworthy company for your hot water heater installation and repair. Plus, a water heater is a complex appliance that needs to be installed properly in order to provide you with hot water without posing a hazard due to leaks, gas or electrical problems. At the same time, regular maintenance is necessary in order to keep the appliance in good working order. If you don't install your water heater properly, or if you fail to maintain it, chances are you'll wake up sooner or later to no hot water-and that's not the best way to start the day!
If you're experiencing problems with your home's drains, then you're best advised to call a professional plumber for sewer camera inspection. In the past, one of the obstacles to quick sewer repairs was the fact that it was so difficult to locate the problem. Sewer lines run below floors and underground, so it's impossible to visually pinpoint holes or lose connections. Until the development of this special technology, plumbers had to carefully assess the situation and try to access the damaged part of the sewer by excavating it.
If your home's drains are slow to run off wastewater or if they're completely blocked, then it's imperative that you get them unclogged as soon as possible. And though in many cases a commercial drain cleaner solution or using a plunger can help, oftentimes, clogs are more resistant. Unfortunately, clogs don't go away on their own. It's important to understand that they're often the result of sediment that's built up over time. Another possible scenario is that the drain's become clogged by tree roots, which force their way into the pipe looking for the nutrients in the wastewater.
Clogged drains are an inconvenient problem that can quickly become a serious threat to your home and your health if you don't take timely action. When wastewater can't run off, it will start overflowing in the drain, which can lead to standing water with organic waste and other contaminants in sinks, toilets, and showers. This poses a serious threat to your and your family's health. At the same time, if the water overflows, it can cause hundreds of dollars of water damage to your home. If these methods don't work and the drain remains clogged, then it's time to call a professional plumber.

When you own an older home, one of the biggest plumbing jobs you might need is main line excavation and repair. The main line is the line that runs from your home to the municipal line. This pipe was installed as part of your home's original plumbing system when it was constructed, and usually runs beneath your yard or driveway. However, over time, this line can become blocked or damaged. The buildup of sludge and sediment inside of the line can cause clogs. At the same time, the pipes can burst due to tree roots and even burrowing animals.

Woke up this morning to not hot water. Unfortunately had a funeral to go to so calling a repairman had to wait. Got home later than expected so I figured no way I would get someone to replace my hot water heater today. Called Milltown and Kevin M and Jake were at my house within 30 minutes. They brought in a new gas water heater and had us back up and running in a couple hours. They also replaced a leaking shutoff valve for one of my outdoor water spigots. Fast and professional. Great job, Thanks guys.
