I purchased a GE Monogram double oven just over a year ago. Recently the internal glass panel broke in half during the self-cleaning process, rendering the bottom oven in-op. I contacted MHA for help and they passed me on to GE Monogram. It has been nearly impossible for GE to find a technician to repair my oven! I have a small catering business with some large parties coming up, and it will be very difficult for me to pull them off with only one working oven! Someone please help!
I wish I could rate my experience higher but unfortunately they just didn't perform adequately. My buying experience was good however I would not recommend paying for installation. I wanted to give the store a chance to improve and thus almost 7 weeks later they still haven't followed through. I purchased very nice appliances for our kitchen remodel and the combi oven, dishwasher, and range hood were all installed improperly. They said the combi oven couldn't be completely installed because the opening wasn't big enough and thus they were unable to push it all the way in and secure it and my cabinet contractor would have to make adjustments. My cabinet guy came the next day and found that the cord in the rear of the unit was in the way and that's why it would not push all the way in and after securing the cord in the appropriate place he was able to install it correctly. During installation of the dishwasher the top part of the door was scratched by a screw that was insecurely fastened above it. They didn't tell me about it during the install and found out a few hours later when customer service called. After turning on the dishwasher and running it, it leaked all over my new cabinets and newly refinished wood floor. My cabinet guy was able to rehook up the drain and make it work appropriately. The hood above my cook top would not turn on after they left. My husband took off the venting and found that they did not plug it in. They were unable to complete the install on the same day and had to come back the next and left much of their tools here. I told them I would except responsibility for that since the counter top guy was taking too long to prep the cook top opening and they refused to wait to install the cook top. After calls with customer service they agreed to refund installation charges of the combi oven, dishwasher, and hood. It's been nearly 7 weeks and I've left 2 messages and still haven't been able find out the refund status. I payed over $500 for a job that had to be finished by my husband and contractor. Extremely discouraged that I'm having to share this review and hoped Mountain High would have handled it as they said. I've had a better, free installation experience with Lowes. I would not pay for installation again.
