The row of transom windows visible from inside and out truly bring in the Florida tropics without the humidity. A four track sliding door allows for a spectacular view of the golf course, and creates a sixteen foot portal for ease of access. In Florida, all efforts must be made to provide insulated glass and walls for rooms that are occupied daily. The room was designed as a home office. Low E windows and paintable kickplate composed of solid panel wall. It looks like it was constructed when the house was originally built!

The expansive screen room measured 20' X 40' and provided enough room for the upcoming parties to be held there! When possible, we use materials that resemble the house in order to match the new room to the existing siding or stucco. This is an example of matched siding. This unique screen room utilizes windows only in the upper portion of the room to cut down on "wind-blown" rain while providing maximum breeze through the space below. Following the roof line of the house roof, we created a combination studio/gabled roof with a view of the lake.
