Franklin Lakes Pool is a licensed contractor with over 25 years experience in the pool service industry. We have been growing through better service. It is our mission to give our customers the best swimming experience possible. We're a full service company that goes above and beyond in every task we do. We believe that customer service is paramount and all our work is satisfaction guaranteed! We understand that the swim season is short in the northeast, and that every weekend counts. We treat every customer like they're number one.
We here at Franklin Lakes Pool provide an all inclusive full service swimming pool opening, our Bundle package includes many services that other companies just don't offer. Such as cleaning the cover, power wash the pool perimeter (coping), open the heater and vacuum debris, test the heater for operation, summarize all auxiliary equipment for waterfalls and slides. We also remove all dirt debris leaves twigs etc. BEFORE we apply the chemicals needed for clean sparkling water. Many companies do the exact opposite, they remove the cover and apply chemicals immediately which offers little or no benefit due to the debris absorbing much of the chemicals and leaving little for the water, resulting in more expensive chemicals needed to make green water clear.
Our pool opening packages are affordable and inclusive. Let us get your pool up and running for the season with crystal clear water, ready for swimming! Our pool closing package includes a good clean before we winterize your pool by blowing out the lines and applying chemicals to prevent damage during the winter freeze. Let us store your pool cover where it will be kept pest and rodent free. Our climate controlled storage facility will ensure the longevity of your pool cover while saving you on your personal storage space.
Winterizing the swimming pool properly is the most crucial aspect of pool maintenance. We first remove all water from the pool's plumbing lines using specialized equipment, install winter plugs and ensure they are securely in place. We then lower the water level to the maximum allowed, as the safety cover needs some water in the pool to help hold up under the heavy weight of snow and ice. It is recommended to have a winter pump under mesh safety covers to remove water from the rain and melting snow that pass through.
