The Avon Lake Building Department issues permits for all construction of buildings and structures. We perform the inspections required by each permit. We also perform plan reviews of all building projects as needed. Additionally, the Building Department registers contractors who are working in our City. The Building Department has certified building inspectors, including electrical and plumbing inspectors, on staff. We will work with both residents and contractors to answer questions related to building projects and building construction issues.
