I had to buy a replacement pump for my pool yesterday and Angie (Fairhope branch) was absolutely FANTASTIC in locating my particular pump at a different branch. She had it delivered to the Fairhope branch for me this morning and had all the additional parts ready for us to install. Very pleased with our service.

I contacted Alabama Pool Works in reference to an issue with my pool heater. To assist, I took pictures of the unit identifying the make and model so they knew what to expect and sent it to them. We scheduled an appointment and the afternoon before the 1st appointment they called and asked to reschedule (even though I’d already scheduled the day off from work). I reluctantly agreed and rescheduled the 2nd appointment. The day of the 2nd appointment arrives and I receive a phone call from Alabama Pool Works stating they would need to order parts for my heater before a service tech made a visit. (By her description these parts were in the hundreds of $$). It didn’t seem right to spend that type of $$$ in advance of any type of service being performed or at least inspected. Needless to say her customer service level was less than average and my request to speak with the owner was ignored. So, I can’t necessarily rate their ability to service my pool heater however their attention to the customers needs needs much improvement to earn my business. BTW, Pensacola Pools addressed my issues without ordering the $$$ parts she indicated prior to service / inspection and unit is back on line!

Alabama Poolworks in Fairhope is looking for a front counter retail associate. This job includes many functions and is a fast paced but a very rewarding job. Please apply within the store, I will usually interview right on the spot if time is permitting. Pay is dependent on experience but can be discussed during interview. It ranges between $11-$15/hr.
