It is with both nostalgia and gratitude that we announce the closing of Modern Swimming Pool Supply Co., Inc. It has run its race well after almost 60 years of serving our customers. Modern Pools was created by our father and grandfather, Robert Silvestri, who had great passion for the pool business. He was proud to be Rhode Island's oldest pool company. His example of honesty, integrity and customer appreciation inspired his philosophy from the beginning and throughout our tenure. We are very grateful for our most loyal customers who, while buying pool supplies, would tell us they were second and third generation customers.

Modern Swimming Pool Supply Co., Inc. is located in North Providence, Rhode Island, and was founded in 1961. Family owned and operated, we have been proudly serving customers for more than 50 years. The state's oldest swimming pool retailer and installer, we are a full-service pool store, and our knowledgeable staff provides customers with expert, personalized help for all of their pool issues. We continue to provide our customers with quality craftsmanship and expert advice. Our goal has always been to translate our passion and expertise to our customers, allowing them to experience the enjoyment and togetherness that comes with owning a pool.
