Preventative Maintenance coverage is available as an add-on to the WH Appliance Repair plan. It ensures that your furnace and/or air conditioner are in the best possible working condition. With this plan, experienced contractors will inspect and tune-up your equipment annually and replace any covered parts, as well as provide a standard 1 filter.
With the WH Appliance Repair Choice Plan, choose the five appliances you would like covered for just $18.75 per month. You may add additional appliances for just $5.75 each. You could spend time calling around for a repair, or you could call WH Appliance Repair and let us handle it. Note: You do not need to be a member of Wright-Hennepin to participate in WH Appliance Repair.
Keep your landscape looking beautiful with professional tree trimming care and emerald ash borer treatments from WH Services, a subsidiary business of WH.
Protecting your storefront, office space or commercial building and employees with a customized, state-of-the-art security system and fast-response alarm monitoring is easy with WH Security. WH Security, a subsidiary business of Wright-Hennepin, has been providing thousands of local businesses with competitively-priced, state-of-the-art security systems and fast-response monitoring for more than 25 years. Whether you are at work or away, your custom-built system detects and alerts you of intrusion, fire, environmental hazards and more.
Wright-Hennepin's electric service territory is divided into nine districts, each of which is represented by a board member. The members from each district elect their own director to serve on Wright-Hennepin's board. Board directors meet monthly to provide financial and operational oversight, establish policy and rates, and represent members' voices in the cooperative's operations. Directors serve three-year terms, and three districts are voted on every year at the cooperative's Annual Meeting.
In a cooperative like Wright-Hennepin, you are a member-owner of the business. One major difference between a cooperative and an investor-owned utility is that you see an ownership in the business through capital credits. Capital credits are the money or margin that is left over after all bills associated with doing business have been paid. Each of you is entitled to these capital credits, or a share of the refund based on your energy use. Before returning these capital credits back to you, WH uses this capital to offset the cost of debt for the construction and maintenance of the electric distribution system.
Trees that come into contact with power lines can cause outages and create safety hazards. Please do not plant trees near all electric distribution equipment. Wright-Hennepin recommends that all trees and shrubs should be at least 15 feet away from power lines for safety purposes. If you need assistance with trimming trees that are near or touching the electric distribution system, please submit the form on this page.
WH Holding exists as an independent business structure that offers innovative and competitive products and services; it was created to manage risk, optimize resources, increase strategic energy sales, deliver complementary benefits and generate profits to offset the retail price of electricity for WH members. To enhance the lives of our membership, Wright-Hennepin started a home security company in 1989 called WH Security. WH Security provides homes and businesses in the Twin Cities area with home alarm systems and monitoring.
We lost power tonight on a very humid, muggy day in the middle of a soaking rain storm. Considered going to find a hotel to stay cool. However, the brave, hardworking men/women had the power back up within a couple of hours. Thank you.
We rarely lose power. Maybe a handful of times in 20+ years. Lost power tonight, got a text update and 2 trucks here in 20 minutes. A blown transformer that had to be replaced. Friendly service people. All well that ends well. A romantic evening by candle light.
Thank You! The service plan just got my furnace up and running again. It was extremely cold in here with the 10 degree weather outside when I got home from work. Thank you for sending B&D out. He did a great job. Excellent service always. Not just for this repair but for everything.
