To encourage Connecticut residents to invest to confront climate change and strengthen our state's green economy, we issued our inaugural Green Liberty Bonds on July 14. Make your home, business, city or town more energy efficient with affordable financing from Connecticut Green Bank. Join us in helping Connecticut spark a green energy movement and learn how you can start saving now. Get started by selecting the category that best describes you.
The Connecticut Green Bank is the nation's first green bank.* Established by the Connecticut General Assembly in July 2011, the Connecticut Green Bank supports the Governor's and Legislature's energy strategy to achieve cleaner, less expensive, and more reliable sources of energy while creating jobs and supporting local economic development. The Connecticut Green Bank evolved from the Connecticut Clean Energy Fund, which was given a broader mandate in 2011 to become the Connecticut Green Bank. Our mission is to confront climate change and provide all of society a healthier and more prosperous future by increasing and accelerating the flow of private capital into markets that energize the green economy.
Find the green energy upgrade that's right for your customers. Help them unlock positive cash flow from their properties while increasing their value at the same time. Provide them with affordable, long-term financing that makes green upgrades possible for commercial, industrial, agricultural, nonprofit, and multi-family properties. Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) is an innovative program that lets building owners pay for green improvements over time through a voluntary benefit assessment.
Grow with us! We're always looking for holistic thinkers and problem-solvers who believe in the power of positive energy. People are what drive the success of an organization. Connecticut Green Bank is fortunate to have an extremely dynamic team of individuals on staff. Their expertise is diverse, ranging from economic development & environmental protection, investing, energy project finance and business management to engineering, marketing and project management, to name a few. They bring talent, passion and drive to the organization, as well as a commitment to Connecticut Green Bank's mission: to promote, develop, and invest in green energy sources for the benefit of Connecticut rate payers.
