The Overhead Door Corporation invented the "overhead door" in 1921 and the electric door opener in 1926. Overhead Door Company of Yakima ("OHDY") was established in 1967 and has been a Distributor of Overhead Door doors, operators and parts continuously since then. In 2017 Overhead Door of Yakima became a division of Authority Dock and Door. The current tenure of our staff is from four to 44 years of serving our customer base of over 250 companies.
