In September 2018 California passed Senate Bill 969 into law requiring that all residential garage door openers sold in the state have a battery back up system. Effective July 1, 2019 this legislation prohibits the selling, installation or reconnecting of a garage door opener that does not have a battery backup function designed to operate when activated due to an electrical outage. In the event a second trip is needed you will only be charged the additional labor needed to complete the job not a second trip charge. JMK has a complete parts department that carries transmitters, accessories and replacement parts for most garage door openers on the market. We also offer replacement parts for all types of garage doors, sectionals, 1-piece and swing outdoors.
Wood doors come in a variety of materials from the basic composite paint grade to the exotic stain grade woods with decorative hardware and everything in between. The inside hardware and tracks can be powder coated any color you choose to complement your interior garage design.
