Garage Works Steel

Early in 2004, our parent company, called The SteelWorks Corporation at the time, started manufacturing a perforated angle product for a local garage door distribution company. This was a natural extension of the slotted angle and miscellaneous metals we sold nationally through hardware stores and big box retailers. Over the next two years, we started manufacturing a variety of perforated angle thicknesses and sizes. With the sale of the "SteelWorks" name in January of 2006, we became GarageWorks Steel, A Division of Acme Manufacturing.

Focusing on providing you the highest quality of roll-formed parts for the garage door industry, our core business is manufacturing perforated angle and door strut. With over 20 years in the industry, our strut and angle products are produced in house and kept in one of our locations across the country. Our products are manufactured in the USA and made from recyclable steel. Our large, in-stock inventory is controlled by the FIFO (first in, first out) method of stocking. This keeps our stock rotated, ensuring the material we send out never gets dated.
