Donald Balint, owner of Guardian Pest Control, has been protecting home and business from unwanted pests for over 25 years. Don started working with a large national pest control chain; however, upon discovering that the customer was not the priority, he left. In 1997 Don formed Guardian Pest Control. The first couple of years, Don's pest management business was a true one-man operation. Don worked extensive hours, managing every single aspect of the business. His impeccable attention to detail and developing a reputation for prompt, high-quality service at a competitive price proved to be a recipe for success.
Rats and mice attack our food in the farm fields, orchards, and livestock facilities, during its processing, storage and transport, and while it is in our supermarkets, restaurants and homes. And what the rats and mice don't eat, they spoil by contaminating it with their urine, feces, or fur. In our buildings, rodents damage doors, floors, ceilings and walls as a result of their burrowing and gnawing activity. They also regularly gnaw on various utility pipes and electrical wiring, which has resulted in explosions, indoor flooding, fires, equipment malfunctions, and power shortages.
Guardian Pest Control provides mosquito extermination to homeowners throughout Southeastern and Eastern Connecticut including the Middletown, New London, and Norwich areas and all of Middlesex, New London, and Windham counties. We also offer tick control along side of our mosquito treatments. When the weather is right, most people like to enjoy outdoor fun, backyard barbecues and pool parties. Unfortunately for us, mosquitoes, ticks and fleas also thrive in the same weather and can ruin our outdoor fun.

About Bed Bugs: This bug probably received its common name of bed bug from its close association with human sleeping beds, where it often seeks refuge during daylight, only to come out to feed on the bed's occupant(s) at night. Bed bugs feed only on the blood of humans and other warm-blooded hosts. Although they have a cryptic behavior and can conceal themselves in tight cracks and crevices, bed bugs are often found in bed parts, such as mattresses and box springs. A bed bug's bite is not usually painful and is not known to transmit any diseases, but you may get an infection from scratching the bite.
