Where to start? Often I will meet local customers at their home to get a feel for the space and the existing furniture and cabinetry it might need to complement. We will discuss dimensions, wood species, and possibly draw up a rough sketch. Perhaps you already have a strong idea of what the piece should. This is the stage that my work diverges from the furniture you often find at the chain furniture retailers. Great care is taken in the selection of the lumber used for your project. This begins at my hardwood supplier which involves selecting the best available boards from large bunks of rough sawn lumber.
