The United Brotherhood of Carpenters is one of North America's largest building-trades unions, with nearly a half-million members in the construction and wood-products industries. Our training program combines hands-on classroom education by qualified instructors along with on-the-job training. You earn while you learn the trade. Member meetings are held at the Local 237 union hall, located at 2412 N. Main St. East Peoria, IL. Meetings take place at 7:00 PM on the first Thursday of each month. Committees meet at 6:00 P:M.
The Carpenters 237 is an ever growing union made up of hundreds of hard working people throughout Central Illinois, standing together for economic progress and fairness on the job. We work to combine effective strategic planning with strong resources to position ourselves to fight smart at the bargaining table; provide aggressive representation in the workplace; and encourage member participation and involvement.
