Green Tech gave me a bid for a house I was remodeling. Initially Rory was very responsive and I felt good about working with him. He gave me a bid for new heating system, on demand water heater and an A/C unit. This included all the duct work.
Rory got things started and got the items installed. AFTER everything was installed, I realized there was no permit pulled. Rory stated that he was not licensed in the city of Denver. I was rather upset since permits were absolutely a deciding factor. I was struggling to figure out how there could have been a misunderstanding. However, things went downhill from there.
Rory began demanding final payment. I asked him if we had gotten the final inspection for the permit (which one of my other contractors pulled for Rory). He flat out lied to me and told me there was a final inspection and I paid him before verifying it. Rory refused to ever come and make sure everything met the final inspection and then after at least a year, he stopped returning my phone calls. I complained to the BBB and wrote honest reviews on his social media which finally prompted him to respond to me and get the remaining items finished though he never did get the final inspection done. I FINALLY got the inspector out this month which is two YEARS later (after having to pull a new permit since the previous one expired) and discovered Rory installed a furnace that is actually 25 years old based on the model number. My painter got paint on the furnace so I KNOW it is the one Rory installed.
Rory is a great salesman but, sadly, not only does poor work but also rips people off by doing things like installing a 25 year old furnace. No wonder he doesn't want to pull permits. I have all the receipts in the event anyone should want evidence. All I want is the work completed as agreed and the final inspection.

Originally when I contacted Rory, he was promt and fixed my furnace immediately. I hired him to install a furnace and tankless water heater in February 2019. It still isn't complete. He doesn't return my phone calls unless I call from a number he doesn't know. His guy put random holes in my sheetrock that weren't ANYWHERE near my ductwork. Rory will NOT meet my plumber there to answer questions. The house has NO HOT WATER. I've had other issues with contractors that are dragging the project on but Rory has contributed to making things much worse for me NOT helping to make things go smoothly.
