As a former corporate financial executive, I've found significant gratification working in a peaceful shop environment where the predominant sounds are that of mallets tapping and planes scraping.
Adjacent is an example of a typical joinery technique used in our furniture. While this mortise and tenon joint is not visible from the outside, it secures the joint in a manner that will ensure the furniture remains intact for generations to come. All of our drawers are constructed using interlocking dovetail joinery. Additionally, unless we are creating pieces that have extensive dovetails, they are generally cut by hand. Pay particular attention to the uneven spacing between the dovetails as well as the marking gauge lines.

This chair was made from Tiger Maple. Notice the unique tiger stripe grain patten that is inherent in the wood. All the ornaments (legs, backsplat, seashells) are carved by hand and as such provide distinguishing characteristics that are common to custom furniture.
