Bettisworth North is a team of Alaska community builders. The firm was founded by architect Charles Bettisworth in 1976, and over the ensuing years has provided award-winning professional architectural planning services to clients throughout Alaska. The firm is committed to a sustainable, comprehensive approach to design, with landscape architecture and interior design services in house. We are passionate about design solutions that are appropriate and responsive to their unique environment. Whether providing appropriate plantings or the selection and use of materials, color and light play a significant role in our northern climate design solutions.

Over forty years ago, a young architect, Charles "CB" Bettisworth, opened an architecture firm in Fairbanks. Through good northern design and collaborative client relationships, his mission was to make Alaska's communities the best places to live. Now one of Alaska's largest architecture firms, Bettisworth North honors that same mission. Thirty-eight professional team members in the Anchorage and Fairbanks offices include Alaska registered architects, landscape architects, interior designers, code and construction specialists, graphic designers, and Alaska's only architectural energy programs manager.
