Stay for the weekend or the whole season! Safe Harbor Newport Shipyard offers complete refit & repair services for motor vessels and sailing yachts. Equipped with three Marine Travelifts, including a 500 MT lift, we can haul out large yachts and provide many services including: paint, engine repair, carpentry, project management, electrical, machining, mast & rigging service work, and more.

Newport Shipyard has on-site electricians who are capable of complete and complex installation of power generators and electrical distribution equipment, shore power and converters. Complete electrical surveys that determine needed repairs, modifications, rewiring or upgrades are one of the many services we provide. We are certified A/Sea Power distributors and have trained technicians on staff.

Expert metal craftsmen with current experience in the marine trades work onsite at Newport Shipyard. Welding and cutting machinery assure accurate fabrication and efficiency. Shipyard cranes provide the ability to move and manipulate massive plates and structures. Specializing in marine fabrication and repair, The Metal Guy (TMG) Newport has extensive experience in most marine alloys. In addition to aluminum and stainless steel, we have worked in cupro-nickel, duplex stainless, high nickel & bronze alloys.
