F. Robert Bell & Associates (BELL) is an employee-owned, small business in Alaska. We are well-experienced with Alaska's challenging and diverse environments, so we have spread ourselves across the state. We specialize in surveying and engineering and are constantly keeping up with the latest technology, including being the first in the state to introduce 3D-laser-scanning techniques for more sound, accurate and safe results in land surveying.

BELL and Associates is an employee-owned consulting firm operating in Alaska since 1974. Our team of professional engineers and surveyors serves as both prime and sub consultants on projects in Alaska and abroad, including federal, state and local governments, commercial, industrial, private, and oil and gas. During peak season, we maintain a staff of more than 60 engineers, surveyors, technicians and support personnel to provide utility engineering, transportation engineering, land-use planning and development, oil-field site-facilities engineering, land and construction surveying and 3D-laser scanning.

BELL has been providing land surveying services to various clients in Alaska and abroad for four decades. As one of our most established and refined services, land and construction surveying acts as a backbone to our company. We have held successful surveying contracts for multiple clients lasting over 30 years. Our surveyors are very familiar with the challenges that our region faces and the harsh conditions that the sub-arctic and arctic climate present. We specialize in providing land surveying in areas with remote access in a safe, accurate, and innovative manner to fit project needs.

BELL has had maintained a stable and continuous presence on Alaska's North Slope for more than 37 years. Our team recognizes how important the oil & gas industry is for Alaska's economy and ultimately, Alaskan residents. BELL has been providing surveying, civil engineering, mechanical engineering and 3D laser scanning for our current term contract with BP Exploration, Alaska (BPXA) for 32 years, which involves standard daily practices including supervising field and office personnel in various surveying tasks for all pads, roadways, pipeline routes, and site facilities.

Our team knows that civil engineering plays an essential role in all aspects of day-to-day life, and is important for the growth and development of Alaska's infrastructure. BELL has been supporting the needs of Alaskan communities for over 40 years.

We are pleased to announce that CMH Consultants will now be referred to our main name as BELL. Originally founded as Crews, Macinnes, Hoffman (CMH Consultants) in 1957, our mechanical services are known as Alaska's oldest and most experienced. BELL specializes in institutional, commercial, industrial, and residential buildings systems and maintains a reputation for successfully meeting client needs-big or small. We use the latest technology, pairing with our 3D Laser Scanning department, to complete projects for federal, state, municipal, and private sector companies and organizations.
