This type of survey is designed to establish or recover boundary lines of a parcel of land and to set or replace the property corner markers. A Boundary Survey is required when there is a property boundary dispute, a subdivision of land, constructing an addition to a home, installing a fence along property lines or simply marking the extent of your property. If a situation of trespass or encroachment is to be proven a boundary survey of the property line(s) involved is often called for. Boundary surveys may also be required to discover easements, rights of way, title conflicts and gaps or overlaps in title.
