GIS Surveyors, Inc. (GSi) was created out of a belief that incorporating the complimentary technologies of Land Surveying with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) would provide clients with a one stop shop for all their geospatial needs. Since its doors opened in 2013, GSi has grown significantly in size and capabilities. Headquartered in Poway, California, with offices in Orange County, California and Seattle, Washington, the business covers a wide range of services including Land Surveying, Geographic Information Systems, LiDAR, and Technical Solutions.
We offer a comprehensive range of surveying services using both traditional and modern techniques. Our survey team includes licensed land surveyors, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certified Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) pilots and mapping experts. Our team of professionals are available for all your Geographic Information Systems (GIS) needs. From a simple mapping project to advanced geodatabase design and application development, we have the in-house experience and knowledge to help you communicate information in ways you thought were not possible.
We believe in sharing knowledge and giving individuals the opportunity to gain valuable applied experience. We are looking for ambitious and driven individuals who want to grow personally and professionally through our results driven program. Our internship program and partnership with the University of Southern California (USC) is mutually beneficial to both USC and GSi because of our likeminded approach to geospatial education and training. The program has been designed to take highly educated individuals and coach them in applying their fundamental knowledge to real world applications in the realms of Land Surveying, LiDAR and GIS technology.
Beginning his surveying career in 1987 as an Artillery Surveyor in the United States Marine Corps, Paul developed leadership and accountability traits that would later serve as the foundation for GIS Surveyors, Inc (GSi). After graduating at the top of his class in both the basic and advanced Marine Corps Survey schools at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, Paul refined these skills in service to our country during Operation Desert Storm and Desert Shield. During his military career, Paul learned the value of attention to detail and commitment while honing the ability to solve problems in less than ideal situations.
We highly value the people who work for us. Under the direction of our Safety Manager, GIS Surveyors, Inc. makes every effort to comply with all government regulations pertaining to health and safety issues. We have an effective Health and Safety Program that is adhered to by the entire organization.
