We were founded in July, 1986 by Mr. Robert A. Koranek, Jr., a Texas Registered Professional Land Surveyor and also a Certified Photogrammetrist. Bob combines degrees in cartography and mathematics with 30 years of experience in mapping and geodesy. Originally known as RAK Photogrammetry, our firm was, to our knowledge, the first private company in the Southwest to buy and use its own GPS equipment for survey control.
