ATS Engineers, Inspectors & Surveyors

ATS offers a full complement of engineering disciplines including Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Land Surveying as well as Energy Audits, Building Commissioning, Construction Inspections and Certified Plan Review services. By condensing several disciplines under one roof, we have streamlined the effort required to bring continuity to the design process. Our "one-stop shopping" minimizes your coordination efforts and keeps your project on schedule. The "one-stop shopping" does not end with our design team.

ATS's Inspections Department provides a variety of inspection services for our builder clients. We work with builders whose projects include subdivision tract homes, custom homes of all sizes, remodel projects and multi-family developments. We offer a range of services to meet the needs of any builder.

Since the ATS Surveying Department opened in early 2004 we have employed cutting-edge technologies to achieve what we believe is the fastest, most efficient and cost effective approach to modern day land surveying. We serve the greater Central Texas area and are regularly in Bastrop, Bexar, Burnet, Caldwell, Comal, Guadalupe, Hays, Travis and Williamson counties.

Our Structural experience ranges from multistory office buildings to many of Central Texas' leading single-family homebuilders. Whether you're using concrete, structural steel, light gauge steel framing or wood, our staff has the experience to provide cost effective and efficient designs.

ATS's Inspections Department performs over 50,000 inspections each year. We perform Code Compliance and Energy inspections for small and large builders in Austin, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth and everywhere in between. ATS currently assists over 25 municipalities in Central Texas with inspections, plan review, permitting and document storage. We also provide a range of services to individual homeowners, including third party quality assurance inspections. ATS provides a broad range of services in the area of accessibility.

Austin Technical Services (ATS) began operating in Central Texas over 35 years ago, and is today doing business as ATS Engineers, Inspectors and Surveyors. Headquartered in Austin, Texas, ATS provides services nationwide with our primary markets ranging from Corpus Christi to the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex and every city in-between. ATS principally serves the construction industry providing both residential and commercial services. We are a multi-disciplined firm offering Structural, Mechanical, Electrical and PlumbingEngineering, Land Surveying, Inspections, Plan Review and Energy Analysis and Testing.

ATS staff is comprised of approximately 100 skilled employees. This has enabled us to assure quick turnaround design, inspection and land surveying services. We perform approximately 50,000 construction inspections annually on next-day service. We also complete approximately 12,000 land survey projects annually and we are a national leader in Home Innovation multi-family National Green Building Standard (NGBS) certifications with over 5,000 units certified or in process. Each department is steered by a highly trained and experienced manager.
